Hello and welcome to my Wildlife Moments page. I am Thomas and I am focusing on conservation wildlife photography. Together with my four-legged travel companion Norris, a black Giant Schnauzer, I travel the world in order to capture and share photos of the beauty of our last wild animals in their natural habitats.
Although my focus is on photographing carnivores facing a shrinking natural environ-ment, I as well – once granted the opportunity – capture selected other endangered wild animals.
My ultimate goal is using my conservation photography work to help and support endangered carnivores by providing them with the spacious hunting ground they need, in order to give them a fair chance in a more and more overcrowded world, dominated by human beings.
I do admire what Douglas Tompkins and his wife Kristine McDivitt Tompkins have accomplished in Patagonia for the Pumas. In order to contribute what is within my possibilities, I am currently working on a photo exhibition, intended to be ready by mid of 2025. There, you will be able to see my favorites in large format, which also will then be available for purchase in a limited series.
If you would like to help me reaching this goal faster, you have two options.
The first option: if you like one of the photos shown in the gallery, you can buy a high quality print, either unframed or in a beautiful wooden frame. The photos are printed on Hahnemuehle FineArt Baryta paper, which gives the print a great contrast and presents itself with a wonderful paper pattern. The prints are limited series at 25 pieces per photo and format , which will be stated on the back of the print.
Standard formats at the moment are 60cm x 40cm / 50cm x 50cm and 90cm x 60cm / 70cm x 70cm.
Larger formats are possible as well, however, to maintain a high quality of the print, the maximum sizes need to be determined based on the properties of the individual photo.
The second option: You could wait for the exhibition and choose one of the limited prints from there.
All profit from selling photo prints will go to conservation efforts.
In case you would be interested in buying one of the limited prints from the Gallery page, just let me know via the Contact page and I will be getting back to you with an offer based on the latest pricing of the printing service company.
